Error 401: Unauthorized (wrong username or password)

Access to certain downloads and protected web pages (e.g. in the forum) is limited to customers
with active access to update. You can automatically retrieve the latest password from here
if you are eligible, at any time, within seconds. Yes, really! You and/or your colleagues. As promised when
you purchased the software, every time when you upgraded your license, as it says on the product web page
and over and over again in each and every newsletter and in each announcement of a new version on the
forum and 5 times on the frontpage of the forum. No need to contact us.

Yes, the password may change occasionally (very rarely!), but you do not need to contact us in such a case
and wait for a reply because every license owner already has access to the password (here, as a reminder).
We can gladly associate more e-mail addresses of yours with your licenses in our database if it helps,
up to 16 per entry. And we would like to remind larger organizations to provide the download instructions
(URL + log-in data) to all their users who need it.

If you already have the latest log-in data (with the right password), but it's not accepted, then please
try the usual procedure: Try copy & paste instead of typing, or try typing the password instead of copy & paste
(because there might be an invisible line break character at the end of the password line that you inadvertently
selected along with the password in your e-mail client when you copy it). Or you could try a different browser or
from a different computer.

If you are using Google Chrome and were not even prompted for the log-in data, then you could either
use Firefox or Internet Explorer instead, OR if this occurs in the forum right-click the link to the forum section
of your interest and open it in a new tab!

Thanks for reading this! Back to the homepage? Or retrieve your license status from here.
Or finally purchase a license now if you don't have one. :)
